Bio

A South Texas native, Adrienne Speer studied art at Texas Lutheran University and received her BA in 2002. Since then she has continued her study of ceramics, establishing a small studio and working primarily with earthenware clay. Her work can be found in collections across the US, Australia, and United Kingdom. Recently, her work was included in the book 500 Prints on Clay by Lark Publishing.

“I strive to give my work an illustrative quality in its surface decoration. I like people to be able to tell that it is hand-drawn. Imperfections and varying line quality give each drawing the mark of being hand made. “
